Acorns and Aprons

Acorns and Aprons is a family of four collaboration. We have two beautiful nature loving daughters, who enjoy creating art and playing outside. We decided to share some of the stuff we create with them on our website blog. We also have a small online shop that sells educational materials that we illustrate. We are passionate about art and nature and I hope it shows in everything we create.

We are fortunate to call the West Kootenays our home. We live just outside of Nelson, BC, surrounded by trees and nature, overlooking the Kootenay river. Selkirk Mountains and the Valhalla Mountain ranges are our extended backyard. We are happiest when we are together connecting with nature, enjoying plant-based foods or creating art. We also have two big rescue dogs, 14 backyard chickens, one rabbit and an adorable hedgehog in our household.
